Thank you for your understanding today. To take the decision to close the school is never something we take lightly, however we felt it was the sensible choice.
The forecast for tomorrow is varied across the city. With this in mind, we have decided to open at 10am. This will allow staff more time to travel across Sheffield. Given the fluctuations in the weather predictions, should we decide we cannot open, we will inform you as quickly as we can via text, twitter and this app.
We feel it is prudent, given the conditions, that we postpone World Book Day and look to reschedule this to a time when there is no white stuff!
